Keeping It Real The Realities of Breastfeeding Session 2 – A Labour of Love This is no.2 of 4 sessions in the Keeping It Real – The realities of breastfeeding, course. In this session we cover: THE EFFECTS OF BIRTHING METHOD – how your birth will determine your normal. I don’t like the term ‘Normal Delivery” whatever the type of birth and the preceding labour will be your normal and will determine how breastfeeding may get off to a start. THE GOLDEN HOUR – Leave baby to it. You will see a video of the baby being delivered onto her mother and how her innate reflexes enable her to find and latch on the breast, this is known as the birth crawl.
