Baby’s gender becomes distinguishable although you won’t see this until your next scan, and even then, you don’t have to find out until they are born if you want to, it is completely your choice.
As your body gets bigger you may find that lying down becomes uncomfortable. During pregnancy you should lay on your side rather than on your back as lying on your back can compress your vena cava, restricting blood flow to baby, therefore compromising them. Some research suggests that lying on your left side is preferable to your right, however, other research concludes that factors such as sleep opportunity, smoking, and supine sleeping position have a more significant impact. You may want to consider getting a pregnancy pillow, or using regular pillows, to elevate your leg and keep your pelvis squarer as you sleep. You may also want to consider keeping a glass of water next to your bed in case you wake up thirsty during the night. It is also common to experience leg cramps at this stage.
As you move through your pregnancy you may experience increased discharge, and a need to urinate more frequently. Both of these are normal however your discharge should not be green or foul smelling, and it should not be painful or itchy when you pass urine. If you experience either of these things then you should let you Midwife know.
